Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind

Through Solarpunk

Living in harmony with a toxic ecosystem instead of conquering it. The proto-solarpunk film, and still its most beautiful.

Through Apocapunk

A thousand years after an industrial apocalypse, a princess learns that the toxic jungle is quietly cleaning the earth. The genre's great ecological parable.
