Through Steampunk

A Verne-inspired TV series around Captain Nemo and the Nautilus, built on a Miyazaki concept. It shaped every steampunk anime that followed.

Through Hydropunk

An 1889 adventure built on Verne, with Captain Nemo, the Nautilus and an Atlantean conspiracy. Gainax's series is the definitive anime Nemo, made just before Anno's Evangelion.
